“The Big Easy” is the first single from Hunter’s acclaimed new album, “Soul Avenger” (2021).
“The Big Easy” video, directed by E. Aminata Brown with Dick Darby as editor and director of photography, is a poetic ode to New Orleans, Hunter’s beloved birthplace. “The Big Easy” depicts the singer/ songwriter easy skankin’ Nola-style Beenie Weenie to the beat of Jamaica’s own Bass Over Babylon, as he visits some of his old New Orleans stomping grounds.
